On June 30, the Federal Government’s new Apprentice Procurement Initiative went into effect for federally-funded infrastructure projects. As part of this initiative, Public Works and Government Services Canada is asking contractors who have worked on, or who wish to work on, federal government construction projects to complete a survey regarding their practices around the hiring of apprentices.

Even if you do not hire apprentices, it is still worthwhile to complete the survey in order to include comment from an unapprenticeable sector of construction.

To access the survey, please visit the following link: http://tpsgc-pwgsc1.sondages-surveys.ca/surveys/osmepd/apprenticeship-rfi-questionnaire/?l=en.

The deadline to complete the online survey is August 18th.
