Advancing Water Infrastructure to Mitigate Future Flooding Risks

In light of the recent flooding across the GTA, the critical importance of water infrastructure has never been clearer. Ontarians rely on this infrastructure daily to ensure their safety and the smooth operation of their communities.

GTSWCA President Bobby Pillitteri attended this morning’s announcement by the Ontario government to advance the Housing-Enabling Water Systems fund. As our province continues to grow, this essential funding will help mitigate future risks associated with severe weather and ensure the smooth operation of our critical infrastructure.
