Covid-19 Vaccine Update “The Last Mile”

On September 14th, 2021, the provincial government released its guidance plan to support proof of vaccination policy.

The guidance provides regulation which outlines ONTARIO REGULATION 645/21 Made under the REOPENING ONTARIO (A FLEXIBLE RESPONSE TO COVID-19) ACT, 2020 outlines proof of vaccination and what subsection of the regulation will have to comply.

Also released on September 14th from the Ministry of Health is the Proof of Vaccination Guidance for Businesses and Organizations under the Reopening Ontario Act Version 1 of the guidance document provides information for specified businesses or organizations as required under O. Reg. 364/20: Rules for Areas at Step 3 and at the Roadmap Exit Step (O. Reg. 364/20) under the Reopening Ontario (A Flexible Response to COVID-19) Act, 2020 (ROA) to require each patron who enters an area of the premises to provide, at the point of entry, proof of identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
