September 30 NOT a Statutory Holiday Under the GTSWCA

As you are aware, September 30th has been proclaimed by the federal government as National Truth and Reconciliation Day and has been made a new federal statutory holiday for all federal public service employees and those employed in other federally regulated industries (e.g. banks). The new federal holiday is not yet being recognized by the province as a statutory holiday though.
